Injuries
Anders had to leave early as he stepped on someone's foot after getting a rebound. In his own words: "i was driving home, and then my ankle started to really hurt, but i was like "ok i'm almost home", so i kept driving, and then i was in so much pain my entire body (head to toe) started to tingle..then i couldn't control my hands so i had to pull over. and then i began hyperventalating, so i called 911 and they had an ambulance pick me up. i seriously almost passed out. i couldn't breath. yeah i was in so much fuck'n pain. like i've played through ankle sprains before, (that's why i tried rubbing it), and i've driven home safe before, but never did i think it could get this serious, i've already called in sick for tmr
but i'm actually a lot better now. the paramedic told me it was proabbly just the adrenaline stopped kicking in after i was in the car, and thats when the pain began to really kick in"
King got hit in the nose. Which was, at the time, slighly tilted. From what Matrix said, Chris hit him into King. All I saw after the collision was King holding onto his pretty nose, Matrix holding his forehead, and Chris making an uncontested lay-up. Chris said he didn't touch anyone. And he said if he did cause the collision, he's sorry. Thanks Joe for escorting King to the hospital.
Lester, left side of left leg above the ankle. Don't know why it hurts, just does.
Oh dear god, two guys to the hospital in one night? You gotta be shittin me. When King was cleaning up his bloody nose, he looked in the mirror and said, "No! My pretty face!" Hey King, you still look good in my book! Get well soon guys!!!

Game 12 incomplete; King got hit
Highlight thanks TT
On our possession, Colin had the ball and was going to pass to Clayton. At the last moment, Clayton ducks to tie his laces as Colin passes over Clay's crouching tiger stance and the ball bounces unseemingly towards the void until Chris hustles and saves the play.
Stars
3. Joe: 'Who says Joe doesn't shoot Part II' Not as dominant as last week on the offensive end, played good D as usual. He even got a steal when Eric (Emerson's brother) was trying to make a move on him. Is that the first time anyone stole the ball from him off the dribble?
2. Clayton: First overall pick. What do you expect?
1. Victor: On fire from downtown. And because of that he forced some ill-advised shots that lowered his percentages. But overall, still shot pretty well.

Highlights
Felix implemented the "and one" rule tonight. Basically if you get hacked and still make the basket, your team will instantly have another possession. Felix wanted the possession instead of the free throw because at least you have to work for the extra point. But either way, I don't think we'll be using that again, eh?
5. Ray slipped and hit the baseline wall after an attempt to stop Justin one-on-one on a fastbreak. Luckily he didn't hurt himself Shaun Livingston-style, damn.
4. Felix's banked baseline trifecta. How in the world do you bank a baseline shot?! Jeez. Nobody but the bank master himself.
3. Gary's running hook in the lane over Felix. Felix read the play all the way but it didn't matter. Carmeloooooo!
2. Joe's acrobatic lay-up coming from the right side and reversing it with the same hand on the left side and swished it.
1. King's trifecta over Alf in game 8... and 1!!!
Stars
3. Justin: Shot 18-20 from downtown, most of them were swishes and over Ray. It's so effortless for him, making them look easier than doing lay-ups.
2. Vince: I know you were trying to look for me a lot of times, but I'm too lazy (mostly just parking outside the 3-point line). Vince was ready to roll from the opening game and played hard on both ends. He made his team look good because he did all the hard work.
1. Joe: Who says Joe doesn't shoot? His O was more dominanting than his D, and he was the best defensive player tonight! Meaning his O was awesome. A lot of tough hoops in traffic, and 3 acrobatic ones.
Injuries
Franco: Charlie horse, jammed finger, split lip
Gary: sprained ankle (thanks to Ray charging into the lane knocking Felix onto Gary's ankle, and failing to make that lay-up. Overrated!)
Get well soon, guys!

Longest Winning Streak
7 by Thunder's team
Highlights
3. Joseph attempts a jumper from the foul-line area and the ball is smashed to the 5-feet mark of the baseline wall by Steve. Again, welcome to CCWB, Joseph!
2. Eric's crossovers. Damn is it fast!
1. While we were picking teams, Thunder says: "Why is Emerson's brother so much better looking?" Gay~
Stars
3. Thunder: Was hitting everything from downtown early on, including those bank shots. He cooled off after the 7-game winning streak.
2. Eric: You guys think Stats Whore and Coach scream a lot when they are playing? Check out Eric and Victor Liang when they are on the same team. It's like they are betting on their lives or somethin. Calm down guys!
1. Zechy: I picked him over Eric because his team ended up with a better record and 2 of his 4 GWs are from downtown. It's been a long time since I've seen Z play like this. He was hitting everything from all angles, and about 8 of his drives involved great degree of difficulty. It was fun to watch (not so fun when you were doing it to my team ).

Longest Winning Streak
6 by Franco's team
Highlights
3. The singing of "Happy Birthday" to a complete strager by the CCWB crew. Apparently though, it wasn't his real birthday.
2. Zechy's crazy lay-up. Let me try to put it into words... his was dribbling right side up court and was cut off to do a normal lay-up. He then went pass the basket and with his arm extended swooped the ball into the hoop. The most amazing thing was that he swished it, I'm sure every else would've tried to bank it.
1. Cedric Thunder the Entertainer: It wasn't until the 13th game that Thunder's team got a win. And through those losses he did a lot of outrageous stuff, I'll let the others fill in on that (e.g. yelling, screaming, swearing, wall-smacking, Kenyon Martin impersonation, etc).
Stars
3. Jayrome: Welcome back! Are you sure you didn't play ball for a few months? Because it sure didn't seem like it. And you knocked down so many trifectas in my face.
2. Alf: Decided to play serious tonight, which is always a handful for the opposing teams.
1. Vince (What's up with those Magic Johnson no-looks you were doing? Crazy!) and Zechy: both of them played so hard last night, and they complimented each other really real. I guess that's what happens when you put 2 great basketball minds on the same squad.

Welcome Clayton's friend Victor Liang! He's kinna like a Zechy with more muscles, meaning he can play PG and shoot the trifecta.

Alf, David Poon, Triceps aka Terry
Thanks for calling and letting me know, guys!
Not!
It was quite chippy underneath the basket. There were some pretty hard slaps that involved Chris, Clayton, Erick, Franco, Lubin, Thunder (hard foul on Justin). Not all at the same time obviously.

Longest Winning Streak
4 straight twice by Justin's team.
Highlights they all involved the Rapist
3. Lester's half-court underhand alley-oop pass to Haslem in game 7, and I thought that was highlight of the night. Well, it was... at the time... Stats Whore (yes, he dropped by): "Cheering for an alley-oop lay-up, so Chinese!" There had to be no margin of error on the pass, man! There was someone in front of Haslem! Apparently I think I was the only one screaming when that went in lol.
2. In game 11, Ray's team tried to play a little 6-on-5 because nobody wanted to sub off. It wasn't until the score was 4-2 that Luis figured out something was wrong (i.e. Why was there always someone open?). The funny thing was, it was them that were up 4-2.
1. After getting a defensive rebound, Lester attempts a full-court underhand pass again to Haslem in game 13. It hit some part of Haslem (even he himself didn't know which part) and went into the hoop. I think that's gotta be highlight of the decade, or even century... or lifetime. That was crazy~
Stars
3. Zechy: Shot well. Shot 100% with Lester guarding him. Jeez, slow down!
2. Clayton: Too big and fast. Neither of the other 2 teams' big men can handle him.
1. Luis and Justin: Damn freakin' cheaters! Justin again on a stacked team. I mean he picked a stacked team.

Longest Winning Streak
3 by Alf's and Justin's team
Highlights
3. David bounced the ball over Lims head to Clayton who then scored.
2. Ray tried to make a defensive rebound and accidentally tipped the ball into his own basket. The best part is when he screamed, "OH SHIT!" LOL
1. Steve's rejection on Tser. ALL BALL AND FROM BEHIND! Clayton, from the bench, said, "OH SHIT IT LOOKED LIKE HE SWALLOWED THE WHOLE DAMN BALL!"
Stars
3. Hans: steady and timely shots with some drives here and there. Joe stated that he had a hard time defending him and ended up checking Lix later that evening.
2. Haslem's mid-range jumpers and post-up moves spread the defense all nite. Oh yeah, he didn't miss many shots.
1. Justin Wu: made 3 game winners, was active on the fast breaks and deadly inside. Definitely our number one star!

Highlights
3. The match-up of Delonte vs Hans
2. Haslem being Dikembe Mutombo instead of Udonis tonight
1. Thunder hitting back-to-back trifectas to break out a 3-3 tie in game 5. Also hit 2 more trifectas in game 6 (second one was a bank) and one more in game 7. I lost count after that but at that point that was 5 straight from downtown.
Stars
3. Delonte and Hans: Both players were very aggressive. Hans had a few acrobatic hoops. Joe was really impressed with his O.
2. King: Had no intentions of taking any jump-shots at all. He had only one thing in mind when he got the ball... going to the hoop!
1. Thunder: No surprise here. Shot 4999-for-5000 from the land beyond, or something like that.

Game 16 T beat G 7-6 Ambrose
Game 17 T beat L 7-6 Justin
Highlights
3. Alf's behind-the-back pass in traffic to Emerson for a lay-up. How did that pass get through? (It was a around the back move to get to the hoop, then fake the lay-up, then behind the head pass to Emerson (what a AWESOME move...) -Edited by Alf)
2. Zechy's steal out from nowhere then makes a tough hoop in transition, getting it done at both ends of the floor.
1. Sam's rejection on Pong. Pong was coming from the baseline and Sam greeted him from the middle and smashed the pumpkin into the wall.
Stars
3. Kevin: Supporting cast (namely me) didn't perform up to par tonight, wasted your efforts.
2. Alf: Was awesome but left early. Was still in bed at 7:30PM. No joke!
1. Justin: Started off slow out of the gate but as usual was the engine that makes the car run.

First 5 games for Gary's team
Highlights
3. Up 5-4 in the very last game, Lester grabs the defensive rebound and attempts a behind-the-back dribble on the fast-break. Before crossing the half-court line however, the ball was tangled up on his calves and eventually was picked up by Ambrose, who banks a trifecta from the left elbow for a 6-5 lead (Yes, he pulled a Felix-special).
2. On the very next possession, Lester's dribbles around the screen on the top of the circle and swishes a game-winning trifecta. He yelled out "game" at the release of the shot (just felt like it was gonna go in). A good way to end the night!
1. Haslem misses a 5-footer and Sam flies over Felix for the put-back. Wow wow wow!
Stars
3. Sam: Mr I-just-want-to-get-rebounds. Take some shots Sam, jeez!
2. Haslem: No style, but all substance.
1. Gary: The 2007 All-Star Reserves were announced today and Carmelo Anthony is left off the team again? This time around, popping someone in the chops and then running backwards towards half-court might be put into consideration when making the decision. CCWB Melo set the tone early and probably played his best all-around game ever tonight. If we kept stats, he would've filled up every category. You missed it Stats Whore. Forgot to mention all those hustle plays that do not show up on the box score. The best one was getting mugged by Lubin and not calling a foul while holding onto the pumpkin. CARMELOOOOOO!!!
By the way Stats Whore, 7 game-winners in 8 wins. Is that a record? Just teasin' ya hehehehehehe.

5: Lester's team
Highlights
3. Game 11: Kevin was stripped by Zechy (When was the last time Kevin got stripped? It almost never happens) and Zechy pulls up and knocks down a trifecta in transition to trim the defecit to 5-4.
2. Game 2: King's game-winner actually hit the strings above the backboard and then went in. It was so nice I just let them have that win because it's a CCWB first.
1. Game 13: with the score tied at 6, Kevin receives an entry pass in the low block. His defender (who was it anyway?) Zechy oveplayed the pass and with an easy spin glided to the hoop. King comes out of nowhere from behind and rejects it off the backboard and keeps it in play. But several plays later, Lester hits a long J at the top of the circle to win it. Thunder slams the ball at the wall in disgust
Top Duos
3. Clayton (Fun to watch him and Kevin go head-to-head. Add him too the CCWB Top 5 list.) & Luis (Got a couple of GWs. Saving some of it for the tournament eh?)
2. King (Mr Highlight tonight) & Zechy (Why did you foul me so hard? I'm your mate in 38 hours, jeez )

Highlights
3. Hey Thunder. I forgot what the play was. It involved Stats Whore though. Help me out lol. It was a funny play, that's all I remembered. Stats Whore: "I yelled out 'same team' to two guys fighting for the ball and then realized that one of them were on my team and the other was on a different team." Thanks Whore~
2. Clayton's powerful spinarama with a lefty bank.
1. Michael's game-winning trifecta in game 7, the best game of the night.
Stars
3. Emerson: why is he better than so many of us with just one leg? Stupid Lims
2. Clayton: the only consistent player on his team.
1. Justin: the facilitater for his team tonight. Big reason for the 6-game win streak. I'm sure Arms will say something like "I shouldn't be a star tonight." If you ever tape and watch yourself, you'll know that you're wrong lol.
Wanna apologize to my team, I sucked balls tonight. Check out the scores in the games we lost. If I didn't shoot 1-for-24 we would've had a way better record than that. Ahhh

3. Haslem's huge block on Alf, and the crowd goes awww
2. Haslem's huge block on Justin, and the crowd goes awwwwww
1. The ball eventually gets into the hands of Michael, who nails a heartbreaking trifecta, and the crowd goes awwwwwwwww Oh yes, forgot to put down Ray's Jordan-esque back-to-the-basket over-the-head shot, that was nice. So, 2 #1s tonight
This possession pretty much summed up Stats Whore team, with all the effort but no results to show for it. Lester scored all 5 points for his team in this game, but disappeared in all other games.
Stars
3. Justin: didn't do much tonight, but did enough to get the best record.
2. Emerson: did you guys see how many offensive rebounds he got? And those put-backs? And how about those trifectas? There was one game that he went 0 for 6 from downtown though
1. Ray: unlike Tuesday, more points than blocks tonight. Actually, more trifectas than blocks to be precise. And check out those game-winning trifectas. I didn't know till I was typing this up.
