Other interesting Stats/Info

3 people came every week
- Dan played 100 games in the last 8 weeks
- Justin played 101 games in the last 8 weeks
- Lester played 85 in the last 8 weeks
This is the difference a winning % makes (62.22, 61.29, 49.41 respectively)

Dan's Best weeks was the last 3 weeks
Therefore if he does well in the next few there's a good chance he'll go up even more!!!

Valid Excuses.
- Felix only played 3 nights so far, and he just came back, so his percentage is understandable
- Gary's only been here for two nights, and haven't played in a while, so that's understandable also

Ray is Overrated.

Now THAT is a STATS WHORE!!

I must admit that my win percentage is inflated because I've had the benefit of playing on some good (but not cheap) teams. Cheap teams are only reserved for Lester's teams ;)

These stats are pretty interesting though!

that's true. no matter how injured or out of shape whore claims himself to be, he's still one of the TRUE top dawgs in CC history (unlike that self-proclaimed TD lol)! =D

LOL... if I'm top dawg, more than half of CCWB should be considered top dawgs. I'm a pretty one dimensional player

cool, our team was 0% last week and i still have over .500, sweet! oh yeah, i played in cheap teams 2 weeks in a row previously ;p

all the real top rankers are 2pt specialists! but they really do bring home the wins that's for sure.

mabye we should eliminate the 2pointer for a week to see if other hard-nosed players that hit lots of baskets do better? lix, kobe, ken, alf, jason, edison, ken, etc etc etc...but then again we'll only play like 10games the whole night maybe.

thx for the cool stat, alf. very intriguing. although my main motivation for playing was always to get more playing time, this will add extra motivation. although not sure my legs can still handle the extra work.

that's why i like the friday fiestas because there's no 2 pt line and so there's more dependency towards the big guys inside!

maybe we should switch from 1's and 2's to 2's and 3's which would balance the points out a bit

for you stats people, that's 6 2s plus a 3, 5 3s, or 8 2s lol... of course there are more combos than this hehehehe~

and since our next stats post will be a brand new page (i.e. 2009 APR - JUN), it'll be perfect timing!

YEAH... I like the 2s and 3s idea. I've been campaigning for it for the longest time.

I think it's a little unfair to have an outside shot worth twice as much as an inside shot... even if you shoot 25% from outside, it'd still be equivalent of shooting 50% inside

that would balance the 2 pt shots but it might extend our games a bit. because on avg it requires us to make close to one extra basket per game. and we know how hard that it sometimes.

most likely it will take more time but im willing to try it out for a month and see how things go. anything to make the game more balanced.

Haha... I never liked the point system. I actually had to adapt/change my game to take advantage of the system. Remember when I first started playing ball at CCWB, I scored more inside than out?

I'm in the overrated club in terms of skills and fairness - although it's not too hard to be more fair than CHEAP TEAM Lester ;)

If we play with 2 and 3s
- we should have an odd number total to encourage a combintaion of 2s and 3s
- I think 13 would be a good score to play up to
- It takes a minimum of 5 bucks to win, and a maximum of 7 bucks.

Problems
- There is a "deadzone" depending on your points (total = final points we're playing up to)
- total-4, total-6. (little incentive to shoot 3 points)
- total-3 (Little incentive to shoot a 2 pointer)
- not big problems though.

i have made the adjustments on our stats printout!

that's easy, lix... just be at the door at 7:13PM to be on whore's cheap team... you are pretty much set for the night when that happens! cheap teams! =D

agreed alf, that's why we need to swithc up the system so that the guys like hunter, lix and u get higher in the ranking...although, u were shooting a lot of twos on tuesday haha

We have a new leader in the win% for the last 8 weeks!
Congrats Justin, dan had a bad last two weeks and have fallen to 6th now. =(

- The top 6 is really tight, seperated by only 3 percentage points.
- We've added two extra people into the stats (Will and Delonte)
- Over half (15/26) of the people have win percentage over 50%
- Tazer is still hurting bad at 24th with 34% winning rate (and he's been playing for all of the past 8 weeks too) That means for every 3 games he plays, he loses 2 of them.

- Justin, Jeff, Delonte is top 3 in winning percentage, but low on scoring.
- Andrew, Edison is high in scoring, but very low in winning percentage.
